Companies Swap Conventional Offices with Business Centers as Dubai Rentals Spike.


United Arab Emirates — The recent recovery in Dubai’s real estate market has led to an increase in office rents, pushing companies towards renting offices through business

centers due to the conveniences they offer and their lower operating costs, according to Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN).

A number of industry reports issued recently found a noticeable growth in office rentals.

One report from CBRE estimated a growth of six percent in office rents during the second quarter of 2013, saying it was mainly driven by increasing demand for property in Dubai, as the emirate’s various economic sectors rebounded.

Choosing business centers as a hub for companies and employees allows businesses to focus on their core operations, avoiding unnecessary complications such as those experienced in conventional office rentals and the different fees, including maintenance and servicing, attached to them, said Sherif Kamel, head of Middle East and North Africa region for ABCN.
